Quality Thai place with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I'm never disappointed with my food here.
Wasnt overly impressed, had the fresh spring rolls to start and the rice paper was way too thick. Then had chicken with cashew nuts and the chicken was coated in something so ruined the dish, also barely any veg. Service was good but i wouldnt go back
Great option if you love fresh shrimp!!! But that's about the only thing on the menu. My gf is obsessed with this place but sometimes I'm not in the mood for shrimp and take one for the team. Wish they had a pasta or shrimp scampi option! Been a guest and gotten delivered many times. Is great!!!! Good deal too!
Good food on Castro
I like that it small and perfect place to meet friend or go a date. But luch price are awesome.
Good food, super slow service
Great food and service. Restaurant is on the 2nd floor
Good food and good prices too
Really nice looking inside. It's on the second floor, so you might not see it if you're just walking on Castro Street. The food is not that expensive and they give you good portions. I got the combo fried rice, which was great!
Worst service ever and terrible value for the price. They took forever to take our order. They charge 2.50 extra ontop of the advertised prices for rice on any curry. So my $16 salmon curry came with literally only salmon and iceberg lettuce. I had to ask for extra sauce too! Embarrassing for them. At least the salmon wasn't overcooked. My boyfriend was very u happy with his pad thai. It was a very dry (unusuallly un-saucy) very small portion and thin noodles instead of the usual thick rice-noodles he is used to.
thai food at this spot - yummy. the food was amazing. there was fast, efficient, and courteous service. prices were good for how much you get.
The food tastes so-so, but it's nicely valued for the Castro and the 2nd floor window seats offer a good view of the strip. It's actually got sort of a romantic feeling to it with candles on the tables. Be aware that the pineapple fried rice doesn't actually come inside a hollowed out pineapple like the picture on their menu would suggest.
Price, quality and place really good.
The plate size was decent and tasted well, but we had to wait quite long.
Second best Thai in the Castro, though it is always cold inside this space.
good lunch specials. reasonably priced. from the outside, the place looks pretty sketchy.
Good Thailand food here!
Screwed up our order and then were rude to boot.
Decent food and friendly staff.
The Tom khaki soup is delicious especially when combined with rice. The only dissapointing dish was the pineapple fried rice used to be served in a pineapple.
Fast friendly service. Can accommodate large groups.
Absolutely fantastic food and service !
Fine location for Thai food. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
Thai Food over there is o.k. because I can Thai food is delicious. Decoration is o.k., but just the location is not that convenient to me. Service is so far so good.
Always great staff, good food, the 4 star is for the stairs- not a place you'll want to climb with the elderly and no wheelchair access- but its been that way for many a year-
Average to good Thai food. Check the specials - they are usually better. I love the view of the street, get one of those tables.
Had the yellow curry...portions were interesting but good. Big pieces of potatoes and more like chunks of chicken. They don’t cut all up like most Thai places I’ve tried in the past.
Pineapple fried rice
Food is okay, nothing special. Place definitely needs a face-lift.
Probably one of the best authentic Thai restaurant in SF. We ordered the prix fixe menu and everything was so flavorful and delicious! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Thai food.
Located on the second floor, the Thai food here is pretty good. Bold flavors here....
The best authentic thai food in the city. Service is very attentive and personal. Always a pleasure in my every visit. Price is very reasonable.
We came here as a date night with another couple, really enjoyed this place and their quality of food. We ordered the noodles with pork bits and we also ordered the Khao Soi, which they were both good. The service was prompt and their Moscow Mules were delicious, I'll be coming here again!
Admittedly, the space isn't much to look at. The location is ideal however -- on a second floor in the middle of bustling Castro Street, directly across from the gorgeous neon signage of the Castro Theater. As for fare, they offer all of the (American) Thai staples - Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Curries, etc. It's not the best Thai food in the city (you'll have to venture to the Sunset for that), but in my opinion, it's the best in the Castro/Mission. Tip: ask for a window seat, which not only ensures the best view, but offers a distraction in the event that your dining partner is boring you.
Good service and pretty good Pad Thai.
They charged me $15 for chicken curry and rice. There was barely any chicken. I literally got 4 bites of chicken for $15 and was very disappointed. The portions are tiny and overpriced.
We had a great spot beside window that Castro Theater's neon light shined right on our dining table. Foods were well prepared and tasty. But they got cold so soon as the room temperature is low. I wish we could have eaten faster in instead of talking too much.
This is the best lunch deal around. The food is very good and the portions are ample. You can't beat the selection. He best lunch in town!
Came here yesterday for some spring rolls and duck curry. Everything was just average fare, although it's nice to look out your window and see the bustling Castro street. Service was decent, but the portions were way too small: the curry came in this shallow little bowl. If they bumped up the portions, I may return. If you're looking for thai, I prefer the one on Castro and 19th (fair warning, it can be really busy).
Good food and nice staff. The seafood noodle soup and Thai BBQ beef are delish!
While the appearances from the outside may provoke thoughts of a dirty low class Thai restaurant this place is actually quite nice on the inside. The view out the window is great for people watching while waiting for your food. This place had great food and I would definitely come back!
We had a usual family meal with rice, main entree and tom yum soup. Okay food, good service. Nothing outstanding yet nothing to complain
Very good food and staff, underrated👌👌
Best Thai food in the Bay Area, hands down. Food from this restaurant is the epitome of "HURTS SO GOOD" and very reflective of authentic food in Thailand. My favorite dishes were the som tom poo (lol.. papaya salad with raw crabs), tom yum gong, and whole sea bass steamed in lemongrass broth. Everything was so spicy and sour, just perfect. I don't think I will be eating at any Thai restaurants except this one from now on!
Love the street food selections. This is "THE" Thai restaurant that I've had the crispy 3 layer pork cooked to crispy perfection!!
Nice spot for quality thai food. service is consistently good. prices that are reasonable. makes me feel like i am back in tucson.
Thai food at this spot - super good. the food was amazing.
Definite place for date night! It was me and my son and my big baby. Me not wanting to cook that night so we were in the area and decided to come here. Service was a litle slow but the food was good.
My favorite everyday style restaurant in SF. Really delicious, flavory, big portions and good prices (for SF). Service is also good what is unbelievable for SF middle rated eatery, all other restaurants around are really rude here
Very good Thai food and they do delivery and takeout. The veggie green curry and mango sticky rice were delicious.
